Programming Winbond w25q32bvsig with Asus Bios for X44L laptop

Hello. I'm extremely new to programming and wanted to install a new bios chip in this laptop that wouldn't start after doing a bios update. I've ordered the Flash Cat USB off ebay and should be here in a couple days. I understand how the wiring goes to the chip itself. How do i go about programming it? is it as simple as just loading the bios file from Asus's website and writing it to the chip? or do i need to combine information from the old chip? please help. thank you!

These chips can be tempremental whilst trying to program when the Chip is in situe , especially getting the correct power to the chip, I would recommend using an external power source or as others have found using the power from the laptop itself.

Once you get a detection of the chip it should be pretty straight forward to program.
