SBV5120

.

There is the option of using the cable max 232

I would rather use a usbjtagNT on these devices.

I have an USB JTAG.
But I need to learn connect the modem
at the interface... And how to extract and
load the firmware...

Almost nothing find on SBV5121.

.

Obrigado.

pins 2,4,6,8,10,12,14 will all be ground , so connect your NT accordingly , pin 1 In your picture will be pin 1 on NT. You should then be able to get a connection

I think the pins 2 - 4 - 6 - 8 - 10 go to GND.

Let's wait for the manifestation of Mr. oliverfree.

What is real and what is wrong?

.

2-10 are GND without a doubt, you can verify this with a multimeter if u dont believe me, Connect your NT and you will see you will/should get a detection.

Mr. D3m0n, I believe, yes, in you! I even did a test
with the ohmmeter!

It turns out that the post contains erroneous information.
Perhaps Mr. oliverfree have been mistaken.

We ONLY post correct information - not to cause doubts
or loss of time for members.

Do you agree?

.

I agree , but people do make mistakes , so we can not be quick to judge . In the end it all normally works out , so it is good to have mistakes so others can see where they have gone wrong.
Have you connected your NT yet to see if u have a detection ?

I've been trying to work a SBV5121 for over a year!
Never had success ...

Now I thought I had a joy, but it looks like I will not have ...

And about posts with errors, I think delete them be better.
An error may appear very disturbing and cause bad reputation
to the forum!

.

Dont worry about the wrong posts , it all works out in the end.
If you connect your NT and get a positive flash detection , then repair is possible in a matter of minutes , if you have a working backup.

=================================
I made the cable and tried to recognize the Flash, but it still fails, you could recognize the Flash Lamp? I put resistors on all contacts, that may have caused the non-recognition of Flash?
