MX25L6406E SPI settings?

Hello,

Tried to flash MX25L6406E with Flashcat - SPI is not supported unfortunately. Does anyone know the SPI setting for a manual setup? thank you.

This chip is supported , re-check your connections.

Checked connections, flash is detected but flashcat reads 8MB of "FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF" from it, any suggestions? Thank you.

What version of fcusb software are you using ? And what voltage setting is your fcusb set too ?

FCUSB.RC16.345 and fcusb set to 5V, doesn't recognize flash when set on 3.3V, thank you!

Try an earlier version of software please like version 330 , just want to verify this is not an actual bug in the software , also what version of fcusb programmer do u have ?

Tried FCUSB.RC16.340 and FCUSB.RC16.338, the result is the same - "FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF"

When you start the software and the chip is detected does it show any data in the console window or is that all FFFF as well ?

It seems like this chip is blank already , was there supposed to be any data on it.

I did try on a 3 different chips, the result is the same, "FFFFFFFFFF", will try to get a different programmer.

Can u post photos of your connection to the chip plus software screenshots please?

Are all your chips getting identified correctly with the software versions ?
Was there any data on these chips in the first place ?

If possible can you write some data to one of these chips to see if it writes ok ?

All of my chips are getting identified correctly with the software after I:
1. Unsolder chips from motherboards
2. Made the wires from programmer to chip as short as possible.
All chips have a data, I know that because most of them came from the laptops with EFI lock.
I think the problem with the programmer itself, it doesn't read the data correctly (it doesn't read the data at all), but it does write data just fine, because I did write a data to one of the chips to remove EFI lock and it worked just fire, but when I try to read the data it reads only "FFFFFFF".
I did try to run software and use the programmer on a 4 different USB controllers, so it is not the hardware outside the programmer, I did try 3 different versions of software and the result the same.
I'm going to return this programmer and order the other one.
Thank you for your help!!!

Out of curiosity could you tell me what VCC you are getting on the fcusb pins once connected to the chip ?

Try connecting VCC pin of the chip to the 3.3v or 5v pin on the bcusb (or jumper hole)
