Does the blue led only light up when you start the software ?
The red led should light up when you have the usb lead connected from your pc as that indicates there is power to the device.

yeah the blue light is on now mate, and the jtag connected to the bored but ive just changed the filmware of the flashcat usb to nand and the red light shows but still same so ive changed it back to EJTAG and the red light does not show then only the blue light and giving me error error connecting the target bored

The blue light is on now, but i cant see no RED i saw the RED light when, i changed the filmware to FCUSB.x.xx.NAND

You need to load firmware version 7.06 in the PCB_2.x folder , you are loading firmware for the old v1 fcusb's

Hey D3m0n where is the filmwatre located :( im new to this i used to have a uncle who knew lots about it but he passed away last year and ive wanted to learn since but college and that

I have loaded the PCB_2.x folder 7.06 and connected the jtag lead and its still giving error saying error connecting to target bored

Personally i would get the m/m and m/f ones as they will be the most usefull depending on the devices you want to connect to

then get the m/f but note that the female side of it will not fit snug into the jtag pin holes on the modem they will be loose , so you may be required to solder the leads into position or you can try hold them whilst you flash your device which will be tricky.

I may as well let you know now before you ask , you will struggle to get this device online with any modified firmware as there is lots of new security implemented within the ISP's , as this is an old D2 device and the majority of the network is now D3 you could end up wasting a lot of your time on something that cannot be done. I cannot and will not assist further in this matter if this is your intention
On the other hand if you are just messing around and learning to flash different devices then feel free to ask questions.

Yeah Bro, i have brought all 3 m/m m/f f/f and in getting the device online my friend will help when he's back from holiday, sniffing the MACS so we can exchange for some fast ones but ThankYou for your time very grateful :)

Hey bro the m/f came today but im still getting the error not connected to the target bored :/

I have copied that diagram, you showed me and every i connect the jtag when the pins in the flashcat USB the red and led is flashing but the connection on the flashcat usb software is disconnected then we unplug the jtag its connected but saying error connection to the target bored ????
