Well, what type of interface does it use? What are the commands, specifications, etc?

BCUSB can do almost anything, but it will need the corresponding AVR firmware with the "commands" coded in to achieve the desired connectivity.

I'm not sure....there is freeware software that reads the data the truck is giving you once it's
Hooked up too the pin and the USB to the laptop.

It's basically reading what the vehicles computer is getting...sorry i'm not much help on describing.
But on the first post I provided a link to what i'm trying to achieve with the Bcusb.

Here is another link. http://www.aldlcable.com/sc/details.asp?item=aldlbareu

Where it shows it really is using basically 2 wires. Which i'm assuming is the ground and data out pin.

ok, is there a AVR firmware, that routes the bcusb to a virtual com port and at baud rates @ 2400 or 4800.

what im trying to accomplish can be made with a rs232 serial port but my computer only has usb
