Bricked Arris Tm702g

hello dedicated testers,i have a arris tm708g docsis 3 modem that i were working on and bricked during the process of trying to flash alpha onto it, i made a full backup of the flash but it was made using a usb-jtagnt (which i burrowed moths ago) i tried using the blackcat to flash back to stock but to no avail :( i used the tm802g script to flash the 702g,is there something im missing or i need a full dump made from the blackcat to unbrick ?

I am assuming this device is SPI as well ? If so does it detect the flash ok ? if so then if you have a full working backup you should be able to load the dump into the flash tab and reflash , there should be no need to load a script for this.
If you only have a firmware backup it may not work on the tm802g script as the memory map may be different .

well i can tell you dont put alpha on a 702 or 802 like that you first have to flash it with a 6120 or a 6220 for it to work, that i know for sure so if you have a 6220 dump just flash it with that then you can put alpha on it ok

ok thanks for the response guys, but the 702g backup i have was made from a usbjtagnt..will that work with the blackcat? if not i may have to find a new 6120 dump :/

If your FULL backup from Nt was verified as ok then it should work ok on bcusb

ok....guys i got the modem operational again and now runs forceware,i got a jtagnt burrowed to debrick..but im gonna try it again with blackcat usb to flash to stock then back to forceware again..its all about the testing..lol :)
also any experts on other arris modems like the TM602G docsis2 modem?

did you get forceware on it as a arris or did you flash with a 6220 or 6120 dump first?

hey, sorry for the late reply..about the arris modem.i flashed with a 6120 dump first then forceware onto it,my job had me away from testing a while, hoping i get some time to test another docsis 3 modem(Arris WBM760)
